Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Grid (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Grid mobile application and related services (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Company Information

The App is operated by:
The Grid, Ltd.
Registered in Czech Republic

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.
  • By using the App, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.

3. Accounts and Authentication

  • Users may create an account using Apple Sign-In or email/password authentication.
  • Authentication and avatar storage are provided through Supabase.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. User Content

  • Users may upload avatars.
  • You agree not to upload offensive, illegal, or infringing content.
  • By uploading an avatar, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the App.

5. Organisation Content

  • Organisations may submit events, photos, and videos through our vendor panel.
  • All organisation submissions are subject to admin approval before publication.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of event information.

6. RSVPs

  • RSVP functionality is for social tracking only.
  • RSVPs do not represent a contractual commitment or ticket purchase.
  • You may add RSVPs to your personal calendar if permissions are granted.

7. App Availability and Monetization

  • The App is currently free and does not include advertising.
  • We may introduce paid features, advertising, or other monetization in the future, with notice to users.

8. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our content standards.
  • You may delete your account at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties.
  • We are not responsible for inaccuracies in event listings, downtime, or user/organisation content.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before a claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Czech law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated within the App or via email.
